Working from home and being my own boss, mean's I can be as politically incorrect as I like. That's why I can tell you I keep him around because he loves to sit on my lap while I work and he is oh so cute to look at. Otherwise he'd be out the door ;)

Perhaps if you attached a kipper to his head so that it is just out of reach of his nose, he would stay awake. However this could result in him walking constantly in his effort to get at said kipper! Oh, I am full of useful tips! Lovely cat! Suzie. x
Kipper idea would be ok, if he was a cat. He is a Chihuahua with a bad hair cut courtesy of his mum. :)

I think he will be ok, he has a lot of other cat like qualities. I could spend all night listing them, so I wont bore you with them.
Oh, he didn't get the "cat like readiness" that most felines have.
